What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code for both the ceremony and reception is semi-formal. We also invite guests to dress within our color scheme of desert coral, eucalyptus, sage green, or cinnamon for a cohesive and elegant look. Will there be a cocktail hour?

Answer

There will be no cocktail hour at either event. During the break between the ceremony and dinner, we encourage guests to explore the area. In September, we’ll celebrate with a reception-only lunch and no alcohol will be served or available for purchase.

At Back Forty, we’ll have a variety of lunch options, including chicken, pulled pork, and several sides, to enjoy as we celebrate together.

How do I get to Spence Cabin?

Answer

There are designated parking spots available outside Spence Cabin. To get there: From Gatlinburg, take Newfound Gap Road (U.S. 441) south for 1.7 miles, then turn right onto Little River Road toward Cades Cove. After 5 miles, turn left onto Elkmont Campground Road and go 1.4 miles. Turn left just before the campground office (look for signs for Elkmont Nature Trail, Little River Trail, and Jakes Creek Trail). After crossing the bridge, take the second left into the parking lot, and Spence Cabin parking will be on your right. The nearest address is 500 Elkmont Road, Gatlinburg, TN. Please note that cell service is limited once you enter the park. Use these directions if needed.
