We've Decided On FOREVER & ALWAYS! 2.22.2024!

Who would’ve guessed that one birthday party and one blind date would lead to forever? Not Isa and Adrian! They were both invited by mutual friends, Elvia and Saul, to hang out for Elvia's birthday celebration. They all first met up at Funplex, then headed over to Raising Canes. What started out as stealing one French fry ultimately led to him stealing her heart. Who could blame her? After all, he was charming and she sure was charmed. Seven months later they were set up on a blind date by those same mutual friends! Isa, being her supportive bestie, attended Elvia's high school fashion show. Lo and behold, Adrian and Saul were both coincidentally there as well! Both were filled to the brim with equal parts of timidness and infatuation, but their courage helped not let the night end so soon. As a group, the four then headed over to Whataburger to keep the young night rolling. Adrian then sneakily added himself to Isa’s phone when she stepped away for a moment, and the fairytale has only continued to flourish since then!❤

With the new flame still ignited by their third date, Isa and Adrian decided to stretch the night by watching one more movie. Since she hadn’t seen “The Secret Life of Pets” yet, Adrian set it up on his living room TV for her. Thirty minutes into the movie, Isa caught Adrian staring and her young heart skipped a beat. While we all hoped that Adrian would have seized the opportunity and complimented her in admiration, we all also know that his moves weren’t that smooth. Eventually, though, Adrian did what would’ve made any hopeless romantic blush. He gazed into her eyes while asking her to be his girlfriend before he leaned in sharing their first kiss.

After sharing over two years of fond memories together, the topic of living together became a recurring theme. Since both were still very young with wages that weren’t quite ideal, having a place to call their own was out of the question. Instead, Adrian’s parents, Jenny and Eugenio, welcomed Isa and her fur baby Frisca to move into their home with open arms. Amid COVID-19, they welcomed another fur baby named Chia and their little family continued to grow. However, the universe surprised Isa and Adrian with one more addition to the family. Their beautiful daughter Adaline, who brought light and life to their world, joined the family in May 2021.

After celebrating four years of happiness and love together, the desire to share this bond through a marriage began to grow. After all, what was there to stop them? They already shared a lively home and a sweet daughter who brought joy to anyone who had the privilege of meeting her. Except, well, maybe one thing was stopping them. Really, it was a lot of that one thing. And, unfortunately, that one thing was money. Even so, Isa was not particular about the style of her ring and had high hopes Adrian would pop the question soon! One night in December, Isa figured it would be funny to jokingly scroll through Adrian’s phone and joke that she’d find something that she wasn’t supposed to see. While Adrian made the effort to tell her to not scroll too far into his phone, Isa regrettably made the grave decision to open the one app and caught a glimpse of the surprise. Adrian noticed and whisked the phone away before teasing “You ruined your surprise, didn’t you? Now you’re going to get a patch of grass as your present.” Isa was upset and learned her lesson... (She currently still does not look at Adrian's phone) When Christmas Eve came around, The Wong family began their tradition of holiday activities, but instead of opening gifts on Christmas Day, they switched it up and decided to open them the same night of Christmas Eve. When it was Isa’s turn, she was surprised at the size of her massive box. She thought to herself, “No way this is a ring; it’s way too heavy and he probably got me more makeup or an addition to my vanity”, and it’s not like her surprise would be tonight…right? However, each box she opened resulted in a smaller one inside. Eventually, Isa finally got to the remaining box. Overcome with excitement, she hurries to get the wrapping paper off, and she’s met with dirt and a quite literal patch of grass. Taken aback and not entirely sure what happened, she looked to her side and there he was. Adrian was down on one knee with a beautiful ring in his hand and the most kind smile on his face. As the room erupted in excitement from everyone else, Adrian began his speech that took Isa’s breath away. He truly took her by surprise in the most cinematic way, and now both look forward to celebrating this new chapter with you❤
