*LONG STORY WARNING* It all began when I was about to graduate high school. For about a year or two before we started dating, Aaron was my "person". I would text him for hours on end and they would talk about anything. The end of my senior year, Aaron took me out of what turned out to be a date, and kissed me goodnight. From there, the rest is history. Things got a little complicated as I was about to attend WKU and Aaron was getting ready to go back to U of L for his Junior year. We agreed to try long distance. After many miles on our cars, and many visits to Paducah for the holidays, we continued to do long distance throughout both of our college careers. Aaron had graduated and moved back to Paducah as I finished my time at WKU. After college, it was harder for me to find a job in Paducah than we thought, so I took a job in Peoria, Il for year. We continued to make things work the best we could 5 hours away from each other. If you're keeping up, we are now on year 4 of long distance. After completing one year in Illinois, I decided to find a job as close to Aaron as possible which happened to be Louisville, KY. I worked here for two years as Aaron continued to finish his masters degree. After 7 years of dating, Aaron proposed to me on my 26th birthday, with no idea where the future would take us. Miraculously, just 4 short months after proposing, Aaron got a wonderful job opportunity in Louisville, Ky and moved to be with me, ending our 7 year long distance relationship for good. Sometimes you just have to take a plunge, and I cannot believe that its taken us this long to get here, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
