Where will the wedding be?

Answer

The ceremony will be held on the lawn of the Sullivan house in Harwichport. The cocktail hour and reception will follow immediately in the field behind the Sullivan house. More details will follow in formal invitations.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There will be a welcome party the evening before and a breakfast the morning after the wedding. Look for more details as the date approaches!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Cape Cod weather in August is unpredictable! Highs range from the mid-eighties to high sixties, and it could be rain, clouds, or sun. We’ll be checking the weather the week of the wedding, and you should too. We do have a rain plan and will be going ahead in all reasonable weather conditions.

If I'm coming in from out of town, can I stay in Boston?

Answer

If you're already traveling, we recommend staying on Cape Cod. There are only two bridges on and off the Cape, and you are very likely to get stuck in traffic if traveling from Boston.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Examples include cocktail, midi, and floor length dresses, formal jumpsuits, suits, and jackets, but any outfit that feels festive, fun, and dressed up to you works for us! The ceremony and reception will be held outside on grass, so check the weather and plan your footwear accordingly.
