There's all kinds of stores out there for different budgets, but I would look for websites or shops that have a specific "wedding guest" section. I know that is harder for the men, but Men's Warehouse, Macy's, and Nordstrom (or Nordstrom Rack) are all good places to look for a reasonably priced full get-up. For women, I love websites like Baltic Born, Abercrombie, or Lulus because they already have sections for you. But feel free to look around - see if you have something in your closet that could work or maybe your local thrift store can provide!
Yeah, sure. As long as it matches the color scheme! We're going for a darker, forest green and would love to see some sequins or gold jewels out there! Black is always a safe choice if you don't have anything else to wear. Bowties are welcome, as are fedoras, but please remember that it will be November. Bring a shawl or a wrap if you get cold easily!
Yes, both places have on sight parking. Don't worry about car-pooling unless that is how you got here in the first place.
While we would all love our favorite men to wear tuxedos, we understand that many of you probably don't just having one laying around. If you'd like to dress up, but don't want to buy an entirely new jacket and pants, consider renting one! If you don't want to do that either, then wear your best suit. Sunday best, preferably :) We would love for you to wear what makes you comfortable, so put on your best shoes and get ready to boogie!
There will be no shuttle, so you are in charge of your own transportation! I know to some people that might seem like an inconvenience, but the drive is beautiful and we wanted to share the bride's love of scenic drives in the Blue Ridge mountains with you! We know this might prevent some people from coming, but you'll be with us in spirit :)
Please bring your own chair and sandwich! If you RSVP after the deadline, there is a high chance that we will not have a plated meal for you, so while we would love to have you there, we most likely will not have the resources to feed you.
