Wedding Date TBD!

We met at your friendly, Smokey Point Safeway in the break-room! I (Isabella) was on my lunch break and he (Ron) was doing his trainee things on the computer, when he got up for a break, and I asked him, “What Department are you training for?” and he replied, “The Deli!” “That’s my department!” I exclaimed. “Cool! We’ll be seeing a lot more from each-other then!” he responded excitedly. That day I was excited to be getting a new co-worker, and even said to my other coworkers, “Have you guys seen the new guy yet?” I couldn’t shut up about him! We worked with each other for about a Month and a half before I had a straight week where I was making Salads in the morning, and he was the main fryer guy. One morning I needed to make Asian Chicken Salad, which includes, as you might guess, chicken! Ron was the fryer that day, and I asked him if he could make me some chicken tenders for the salad, “Hey Ron can you make me some chicken tenders for my salad?” and he responded, “Yes of course!” and then out of pocket, says, “You know… you’re my favorite person to work with.” I turned around quickly, too shy to reveal how I was feeling, and smiled and deeply blushed and said, “oh… thanks!” That moment made me realize that I actually might have a crush on him. My crush continued on for two weeks, and I was listening to “Juna” by Clairo on repeat while we worked together! The next time I worked, I worked with my coworker Tammy! She is a good friend to talk to, so when I work with her, we get to chatting a lot! During a conversation we had during my shift, I actually confessed to her that I had a crush on Ron! “Tammy…. I think I have a crush on someone…” she responded, “Ohhhh who is the lucky guy?!” I was reluctant to tell her at first, but I gave in and said, “Ron.” Flash Forward to a wedding I’m at on September 28th, 2024, and I look at my phone during the reception while waiting for dinner, and I see that Tammy has called me at 4:09 PM and I missed it! But good thing she left a voicemail, noting how urgent it was, she said, “Hey Bella, it’s Tammy. I just wanted to call and tell you something so you could have a great day. But We’ll talk soon as we can OK? All right bye.” She said, on the call back, “Bella!!! I spilled the beans… to Ron!” “WHAT?!” She then says, “Yeahhh, I might have told him your little secret.” She said, “Well, we’re closing together, and you know how I love to chat, so I went over to him and said, ‘Ron.. I know someone who has a crush on you!’ and I didn’t even have to tell him he just randomly said, ‘Oh interesting! Well I hope it’s Isabella.’ Soo the beans are spilled! Should I give him your number or vice versa?” “OMG YES!” I was freaking out. The guy I’ve a crush on for weeks, LIKES ME BACK?? This. was. crazy. She then said, “you should send him a picture of yourself in your dress!!” I then got his number, and texted him it and said, “heyyy! :)” He responded, “Hi how’s it going :), How’s the wedding going?, Looking good btw.” After that, he went straight to the point and texted me saying, “Can you call?” “yes of course!” I replied. I was so shy during that phone call, but that phone call was the start of everything! He asked me out to Olive Garden which was our first official date, and the rest is history, and we got engaged at Olive Garden on 1/05/26!
