Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. Please dress in formal attire. Guests should wear suits, floor length gowns or formal cocktail length dresses. For an idea, above is what we wore recently to a friends formal wedding.

Can I bring my own alcohol, like in a flask or mini bottle?

Answer

Personal containers of alcohol are prohibited by the venue. Anyone caught with personal alcohol containers will be cause for termination of the wedding event. All alcohol at the event will be provided by us in the form of beer, wine and a vodka cocktail.

Is smoking or vaping allowed at The Vacaville Opera House?

Answer

Smoking and vaping is strictly forbidden on the premises of the Vacaville Opera House. Please understand that any occurrences of smoking or vaping at the venue will result in termination of the wedding event. They have a zero tolerance policy. Thanks for your understanding.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is lots of free street parking surrounding the Vacaville Opera House. There is also a public parking lot with limited space near The Vacaville Opera House, located on Catherine St. and Davis St.

Are there Covid restrictions for our wedding?

Answer

Yes! If you are not vaccinated for Covid-19, we will require a negative Covid-19 test result within the 48 hours before the wedding.

Where can I get a Covid test if I’m not vaccinated and need to send a negative result within 48 hours before the wedding?

https://special.usps.com/testkits Free tests mailed to you by the USPS, but order asap as they are in high demand and it may take up to 6 weeks.

Are there any special hotel rates available for out of town guests?

Answer

Yes! We have received a special discounted rate for a few different hotels. Information on booking those rates, listings of the available hotels in the area, and a direct link to the discounted booking page can all be found on our "Accommodations" page.
