Our story began in the summer of 2019. That summer, Ken was working for a landscaping company in Chagrin Falls. One day, while working on a project across the street from Chesterland Tavern, his boss—who happened to be a regular there—suggested they stop in. He also mentioned there was a hostess Ken should meet. As fate would have it, Bella was working at Chesterland Tavern for the summer. During a break in the workday, Ken and his coworkers stopped in, and before long, Ken worked up the courage to ask Bella for her phone number. Just a few days later, they had their first date at Yours Truly in Chagrin Falls. What started as a simple dinner date quickly became the beginning of something special. For the next six years, Ken and Bella mastered the art of long-distance dating. They became experts in weekend road trips, counting down days until the next visit, and convincing themselves that "only a few more hours in the car" wasn't that bad. While the distance wasn't always easy, it made them appreciate every moment together and strengthened the relationship they were building. In April 2025, Bella moved to Columbus, Ohio, bringing their long-distance chapter to a close and allowing them to finally build their everyday life together. Later that year, on November 8, 2025, during a cruise to the Bahamas, Ken proposed on a private beach in Nassau. It was a perfect moment and the beginning of their next chapter. Now, as they prepare to say “I do,” they are incredibly grateful to celebrate this special day surrounded by the family and friends who have supported them along the way.
