Four Points by Sheraton Coral Gables

We have set aside a block of rooms at the Four Point Sheraton as during this highly sought after time it is more reasonable. We chose it for its location and amenities. It has a rooftop pool and gym, is walking distance from Shops of Merrick Park which is an outdoor mall with restaurants and cafes and a block from a trolley stop which goes to downtown Coral Gables and to Coconut Grove. 6 min to church and reception 4 min to downtown Coral Gables 8 min to downtown Coconut Grove 30 min to South Beach 20 min to Miami International Airport (MIA) 45 min to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL)

Coral Gables Downtown

Pedestrian friendly downtown Coral Gables, historically known for its Miracle Mile is 10 minutes from the church and reception. It is full of interesting shops, cafes, restaurants and has a few hotels. - Colonnade hotel is set in a historic building - Hyatt Regency has a beautiful pool and multiple amenities - Hotel St. Michel is a boutique hotel considered a historic landmark. All of these are within walking distance of Miracle Mile. 10 min church and reception 10 min to Coconut Grove 30 min to South Beach 11 min to Miami International Airport 50 minutes to FLL using I-95 express

Coconut Grove Downtown

Also pedestrian friendly “The Grove” is full of eclectic shops, cafes and restaurants with more of a nightlife than “The Gables”. It has a bohemian feel to it, and though it doesn’t have a beach it has a marina, bayfront area and Peacock park. -The Mayfair - Mr. C - The Mutiny - The Arya 15 min to church and reception 10 min to downtown Coral Gables 30 min to South Beach 16 min to Miami Airport 33 min to Ft Lauderdale Airport

These are just a few options for your convenience. South Miami is adjacent to Coral Gables and is more suburban, so less options for hotels but probably has more Airbnb options. It can be a 10-30 minute drive to church and reception. There are plenty of hotels around the Miami airport and in Miami Beach to also choose from. We suggest staying away from lodging in South Beach.
