The Skylands Manor is a castle located in the New Jersey Botanical Gardens. Please be aware that you need to put in the actual address provided (5 Morris Rd, Ringwood NJ, 07456) as we’ve found if you just search Skylands Manor in google maps it takes you to a suburban area 10 minutes away.
Dress Code is “White Tie Encouraged”. Women should wear full length gowns. Men may wear tuxedos with tails or regular tuxedos (Black Tie attire). Top hats, gloves, furs are welcome! Have fun with your outfit.
Ceremony will begin at 7:00pm. We will have live music, champagne, and seltzer beginning at 6:30pm. Reception will follow immediately after the conclusion of the ceremony.
There will not be a formal sit down dinner, however, there will be plenty of food and drink as well as areas to rest your feet. We want our guests to enjoy the many rooms in the castle and we will have different food stations, cocktails, and passed hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening.
Unfortunately this evening is not set up to be kid friendly.
Dancing will begin at midnight during our after party in the ballroom. We will also have specialty food and drinks within our Havana Nights theme!
We wish we could accommodate everyone to stay overnight in the castle but there are only a select few rooms that will be reserved for the wedding party. Those who are not staying at the castle please look at travel/accommodation page for information on the Sheraton Hotel. We will provide transportation to the hotel from Skylands Manor throughout the evening.
Yes! Hot continental breakfast will be provided the morning after, but please be aware checkout is at 10:00 am.
