Drop-in, casual drinks the night before. Sunset views over the river :) We won't be providing food at the welcome drinks - but you are able to bring in food from the outside at Strong Rope, and there is a pizzeria very close by.

Party at Popina

Eben and I will be getting married Friday morning at the Courthouse in Manhattan, we are so excited to invite you all to celebrate our marriage with a backyard music party at Popina. Popina's backyard is outdoors and mostly in direct sunlight outside of some of the shade of a beautiful old oak tree. There will be limited seating in the side area in the shade with fans. There is no A/C and we will have tents in the event of rain.

Jalopy Tavern is a mariner's dive bar with music that makes you feel like you stepped out of New York and into New Orleans. The walk from Popina to Jalopy is just under a half mile and directly down the street. Walking is highly suggested, or catching the elusive B61 bus.

If we have good weather, we are going to have a beach hang the next day! We will pre-purchase ferry tickets for you if you'd like to join us, it's also an easy subway ride out to the Rockaways. As casual as it gets.
