Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

We love your kids but we are kindly asking that our wedding night (Saturday) is kid-free. We had over 50 kids under the age of 7 and we sadly just couldn't accommodate this at our venue. Reach out to us directly if this is going to be a challenge so we can connect you with childcare in the area for Saturday or talk through options.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is wedding casual. Think sundresses, fun jumpsuits, button down shirts and slacks. We want you to feel comfortable so wear whatever makes you feel good! Keep in mind Midland is a place of natural beauty so wear comfortable shoes that you can walk on dirt and grass.

Question

What is the shuttle schedule on Saturday?

Answer

Yes! On Saturday we will have shuttles to pick up and drop off in Buellton, Solvang, Santa Ynez and Los Olivos. They will start returning around 9pm with the last shuttle leaving around 11pm. Here is the pick up schedule: 4:00pm - Buellton - 555 McMurray Road, Buellton 4:10pm - Solvang - 1580 Mission Drive 4:20pm - Santa Ynez - 2975 Mission Drive, 93463 4:30pm - Los Olivos - 2350 Railway Ave

Question

If I am staying on campus, tell me all the logistics!

Answer

Address is 5100 Figueroa Mountain Rd, Los Olivos, CA 93441 The Midland School. You will see a sign on the right of the road that says Midland. Pull down this driveway and you will see the check in table. Check in is between 3-5:30 PM on Friday, June 13th. We will have someone waiting to greet you once you drive into the property to give you a map and get you to your room or camp spot. We also will have wifi info for you because there is no cell service on campus. If you need to come outside of these hours, let us know so we can plan accordingly and make sure you find your way. You will need to bring bedding, pillows, towels, toiletries, etc. A reminder that cabins are quite sparse, two twin beds and shared bathrooms with hot showers. To cover our cleaning fees, we are asking for $50 per cabin for the whole weekend. If you are camping or staying in a camper, you owe us nothing! You can send this to my venmo @Isabella-Marill or Zelle is under Isabella Marill with phone number (310) 503-7311. If neither of these work, please plan to bring cash on Friday. There will be light breakfast and a snack table around at lunch during the day on Saturday but we highly suggest you bring some extra snacks or plan to check out town on Saturday to get a hearty meal (it's less than a 10 minute drive). Optional Packing list: beach chair or blanket to hang on the field during the Friday BBQ, clothes to go on a hike, bike, or a run on Saturday, warm jacket (temps can sometimes drop at night), sunscreen, and wedding casual attire :) Checkout is by noon on Sunday.
