We love because He first loved us

On June 28, 2024, God brought us together at FCA Leadership Camp at WKU. Isabella was serving as a huddle leader, and Brandon was on staff. Our first interaction happened in a Walmart aisle over a bag of Dot’s pretzels—Brandon made a joke, we laughed, and then went our separate ways, focused on pointing students to Christ. During camp, we didn’t talk much because we were both fully invested in the mission. But on July 4, Brandon invited a small group of huddle leaders to his hometown. What was supposed to be a group hangout turned into a day that changed everything—we played games, watched fireworks, met family, and finally had real time to talk. That night, a simple question about a testimony turned into a 12-hour conversation. We let our guards down, felt overwhelming peace, and knew God was doing something different. Exactly one week later, on July 11, 2024 (7/11—yes, we love that), Brandon asked to make it official—in Italian! Since then, we’ve seen God’s faithfulness over and over again through prayer, encouragement, and incredible community. On December 15, 2024, Brandon proposed during a Blue and White gymnastics meet, surrounded by family, friends, and coaches. And on July 11, 2025, we said “I do” in a beautiful, private ceremony, eager to begin our life together while keeping Christ at the center. July 4 will always be special to us. It’s when our story truly began—we are so grateful to celebrate this marriage and the love God has given us with all of our family and friends.
