We kindly request a 16+ celebration.
The dress code is "Texas Formal" https://www.southernliving.com/texas-formal-7565460 What does that mean? You can feel free to wear cowboy boots or bolo ties with suits. For a more feminine look, you can pull off cowboy boots with a mid- or full-length dress. You might even wear denim, whether it’s a chambray shirt underneath a suit jacket, or starch-pressed jeans with a sport coat. Cowboy hats are also welcome. You should try and avoid skinny heels, as the terrain walking up to the venue can be rugged and muddy. Please NO white (or ivory, cream, etc...) OR red dresses! If you have more questions and you’ve made it this far, congratulations. You've unlocked some special notes on the wedding’s theme. This may help you decide your fit: The decor of the wedding is 70s western meets rock-and-roll meets slight Vegas tacky. To that end, we encourage fringe, bell-bottoms, velvet if weather appropriate, silk, sparkles and sequins for all. The only sin you can commit at this event is 1. wearing a white or red dress, 2. not showing off your true western self's alter or everyday ego with your outfit. The dance floor WILL be on fire with disco balls, your belly WILL be full of BBQ, and there may or may not be a pool table, dive-bar beer signs, and deer on the walls… mixed with tinsel, red velvet, crystal, and LOTS of vintage swan trinkets… We want groovy, we want cowboy, we want outlaw, we want Elvis. Don’t be afraid to strut your stuff. The bigger the poof in the sleeve, the better. Hues present at the ranch: surprise blue, deep red, muted pink, ivory, silver, cedar , leaf-green Colors we would LOVE to see you wearing: Smoky plum, charcoal, sage green, dove gray, terracotta, foraged-mushroom brown, mauve, midnight blue, lavender, gold Everyone say "Far Out!" and let's get celebrating!
We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early to get seated before the start of the ceremony.
The ceremony will be outdoors under a tent rain or shine, but the reception to follow will be inside!
Parking will be available, though it may include a 5 minute walk. For those requiring assistance, we'll have someone there to shuttle you.
We’re having an unplugged ceremony. Please keep phones away until the celebration begins.
We’ve listed hotel and accommodation options on the Places To Stay page!
Full details and directions will be provided on your invitation!
