The dress code is Black Tie Optional/Formal Required. For men, this is most often a tuxedo, but can also include dark suits or formal separates. For women, this typically includes floor or ankle length gowns, but can also include elegant pantsuits, or formal separates. We also reccomend avoiding stilettos. We ask guests to avoid colors typically reserved for the bride (i.e. white, ivory, cream, etc.) PLEASE NOTE: The bridal party will be wearing black.
The ceremony will be outdoors, while the reception will be indoors. We encourage longer gowns and bringing a coat/jacket due to the unpredictability of mountain weather and the colder evening weather in May.
Our venue sits at 8,200 feet, offering stunning mountain views - and thinner air. At this elevation, altitude sickness is possible (think headaches, nausea, or fatigue). To feel your best, try to arrive a day early if possible, drink plenty of water, go easy on the alcohol, and take it slow the first day. With a little prep, you'll be ready to celebrate with us in the mountains!
Both sites are on Palisades property, however there is a short walk (approximately 5 minutes) between the two. If you require accomodations for this, please reach out to us as soon as possible.
The Village at Palisades is our recommended lodging choice. Please see the Travel & Lodging Page for a link to book using our discount. There is also a separate note listed on our Travel Page that links a website showing the different options Palisades has available for booking.
We are only able to accommodate those named on your invitation. If you have questions about this, please contact Isabella and Payton. We appreciate your understanding and cannot wait to celebrate with you!
We have decided to keep all of our wedding events adults-only (18+) and appreciate your understanding.
