Are we getting married?

Answer

Not right now, we are just having a house warming party because we are moving in together.

Do we have to get items from these specific stores?

Answer

No you don’t, I made these registries to give everyone an idea of what Tanner and myself were looking for and what we needed for our new place

Can we get you something we think you might need?

Answer

Of course! We would love to see what you have in store for us! You are more than welcome to buy us items that aren’t on the registries or from different stores.

Do we have to attend both parties?

Answer

No you don’t, I just thought it would be convenient to have both parties on the same day. If you just want to stay until 5PM for the house warming party that is completely fine with us. Or if you would like to join us at 5:30 for the birthday party that is alright with us as well. If you would like to just attend one party that is absolutely okay with us, we will be delighted to see you either way.

What’s the rush in moving in ?

Answer

Tanner & I decided to move in together after being in a relationship for over 3 1/2 years. We wanted to take step forward towards our future together. It wasn’t a decision made on a whim and we love the idea of being together.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We wanted a causal formal attire so that we can take pictures with all of you to remember the first party we host in our new apartment. You don’t have to dress formal, whatever you feel comfortable with is alright with us.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

You can let us know a weekend before so we have an idea of who is coming. We also would want to know if you would like to spend the night to ensure we have space for whoever wants to stay with us.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! We want the whole family to come and celebrate the beginning of this chapter in the lives of Tanner & myself.

How long is the party?

Answer

We wanted to start about 2:30 PM and we would have the party in the community room until 9PM so if you would want to stay longer you can but we would move the party upstairs to the apartment.

Do we have to bring a gift?

Answer

No you don’t, buying us a gift isn’t mandatory it’s only for those who would like to help us out with mundane items for our new place. Whatever you would like to contribute will be appreciated.

Is cash or gift cards okay?

Answer

Absolutely! If you don’t know what to get us, anything would be useful!

What about school? And work?

Answer

Well the our apartment is only 5 minutes away from my school campus, I’m being transferred to another Target 10 minutes away from the apartment and Tanner already has a new job 5 minutes away from the apartment.

If I have questions can I call you?

Answer

Absolutely! If you have any questions, you can call or text me and just ask away!

If we can’t make it can I still mail you a gift?

Answer

We’re sad to hear that you can’t join us in our special evening but we understand not everyone can make such a lengthy trip in such short notice! If you cannot attend but your would like to send us a gift that is completely fine with us. Whether it’s your physical presence or your spiritual presence we are just happy that you will be apart of this new adventure with us!

How far is the drive from Chicago to Sheboygan?

Answer

About 5 hours round trip, 2 1/2 hours to get to Sheboygan and 2 1/2 to get back to Chicago. It’s about 154 miles from Chicago to Sheboygan. If you take I-90/I-94 to I-43 S to WI-28 that would be the fastest route to get here. We know this is a longer trip than expected and if you cannot make it we understand.

If we can’t make it to the housewarming party or the birthday party on this day can we come before or after the 24th?

Answer

Absolutely! We picked that day because it’s my birthday and we would love the opportunity to spend it with everyone that means so much to Tanner & myself. But we completely understand if that weekend doesn’t work for everyone! You are more than welcome to join us on another weekend!
