FAQs

We are looking forward to making great memories on our wedding day.
Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We hope to start the ceremony at 4 p.m. with the dinner reception to follow immediately after. Please feel free to arrive 3:15 - 3:45.

Question

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception will be held at the same place as the ceremony.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Something between a Paula Deen and Walker Texas Ranger should do it. We hope everyone will wear whatever helps their moves on the dance floor. . . just please no nude body painting. Eww.

Question

Will there be alcohol served?

Answer

How else are you going to wash down the food? Yes, wine slushies and beer will be offered for FREE. No hard liquor is permitted at the venue, so please keep your flask under the drivers seat. There will be servers and a bartender, tipping is not necessary. . . this one is on us!

Question

Do I need to bring a gift?

Answer

No. Unless you want to give us keys to a 3000 sq ft home with a workshop lol. We will be partaking in a traditional "money dance" where you pay to dance with the bride and groom, so do bring some greenbacks as it's sure to be a good time. And if you feel the need to give, a decorative card box for guests to set aside their cards of well wishes and gift cards or monetary gifts for the bride and groom will be situated near the guest signature book.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

The venue is situated inside of a beautiful Pecan orchard. There will be plenty of parking, just follow the car in front of you. If you happen to be the first one, kudos to you and you can park wherever you want on the left near the stables.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We kindly ask that you make arrangements to leave your child(ren) at home. There will be a few little ones on the wedding day for the ceremony, but due to the liability at the venue we ask that you do not bring children.

Question

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes, please. There will be a little more formal dinner so we would appreciate a good head count so that nothing goes to waste. . . especially our honeymoon funds. You could RSVP by mail (good luck with the elections around the corner) or text, email, WOOF, instagram, snapchat, efax or whatever floats your boat.
