By 1st November 2025 please so that we can best prepare for your arrival in Newcastle!
Definitely. Your invites should have incorporated the little ones. There will be a separate space available (garden outdoors or the bar area) where you can take your children for a little 'escape' if required. Children's menu will be served. Do let us know in the RSVP form if your child has particular dietary requirements.
Invites should have incorporated spouses. Let Isabel/Robert know otherwise and we will do our best to accommodate.
We are super grateful to have you in our lives and for celebrating with us on our big day. No presents or red packets are necessary. If you do, however, feel strongly about gifting then we'd welcome contributions towards a new indoor exercise bike. Get in touch if this applies to you.
Plenty of free parking spots available. Cars can be parked at the venue overnight but please pick them up by 12pm the following day.
Traditional Scottish dancing. There will be a caller so no need to have prior knowledge of the dances and most importantly suitable for all ages! If you wish to do some research, it may be worth searching on YouTube any of the following: Gay Gordons, Hamilton House, Dashing White Sergeant, Strip the Willow. Can't wait!
Dress code is formal. Essentially suit and tie for men and cocktail dresses (as opposed to evening gowns) for ladies. A reminder that we have organised a ceilidh so you may wish to bring and change into your dancing shoes!
There will be somewhere for you to hang up your coats but we hope that by May the beautiful Newcastle weather will make coats unnecessary!
You are welcome to take photos and videos at the event. Please send us the nice ones! There will be an official photographer and we look forward to giving you access to those pictures too.
We are pleased that you are considering local attractions in the North East. Here are some recommendations and you can message us if you want more details.
