Yes! Once you arrive at Secrets both the resort and beach club have all inclusive cocktails, bars, and amazing restaurants! The staff is amazing, so we do recommend bringing tipping cash (USD or MXN are both accepted). $1 USD per drink, $5 USD per guest for lunch, and $10USD per guest for dinner was pretty common when we visited in January. Note, this is totally optional, the staff will treat you tremendously either way.
All guests will have access to both the Secrets resort and Secrets Beach Club. The Secrets Resort is nestled in the jungle and where all hotel rooms, restaurants, bars, pools etc. are located. It is a short cab ride to all things Downtown Tulum. The Secrets Beach Club is located a quick 15-20 minute shuttle from the resort on Tulum Beach. This is still all inclusive (for Secrets guests) and has its own restaurant and beach front bar! Resort shuttles leave every 30 minutes from 8 AM to 6 PM when the beach club closes. Feel free to walk down the beach and enjoy other famous beach clubs such as Taboo, or even the famous Tulum Jungle Gym if you want to get in a workout on the beach. There are also plenty of beachfront restaurants and shops to explore. (Note all off site food/drinks/activities cost extra)
There are restaurants and convenience stores (with an ATM) within a 5-10 minute walk of the resort. During our visit in January we felt very safe in this immediate area, as there are many tourists, but as a reminder please always be conscientious of your surroundings when leaving the resort, and always walk with a group.
The only plans we have are Saturday Evening for our actual Ceremony and Reception! (+Tentative Sunday Pool Party). Please treat the rest of your weekend as a vacation away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Feel free to text us to see where the two of us are hanging out for the day as we will bounce around the 5+ onsite pools and various restaurants.
