Our story began back in 2015 as best friends in Auburn, Alabama where we both attended Auburn University. We met each other the first week of college during syllabus week. We realized it may have been more than friends when we spent a summer in Auburn, both attending summer classes and getting to know each other more. We finally started officially dating in 2018. It took a few times of asking for Isabel to finally say yes to dating as she was scared of the possibility of losing her best friend if something were to happen. Little did she know, John Michael would continue to be her best friend for the rest of her life. After many Auburn football games, tailgates, trips to Fort Worth, commuting between Southern Maryland and Baltimore, many One Star Country Club trips, Isabel and John Michael years later finally moved in together in Denver, Colorado with their favorite puppy, Beaux. John Michael proposed to Isabel on August 9, 2024 at Lake Isabelle on a beautiful hike with both of their families in town. We had a great time celebrating with family all weekend and with a highlight of going to a Mt Joy Red Rocks Concert that night. We look forward to many years together and to celebrate with family and friends!
