I+J 2023

We met for the first time at a Chi Alpha service at UNI during the fall semester of Jayden's freshman year and Isabel's sophomore year. We were friends for 3 years before Jayden started making music and asked Isabel to record vocals on it. The song 100x over was born and so was our love as our time spent together outside of the studio cultivated a deeper curiosity for who each other was. By the time we started dating, we were only in the same town for a week before Jayden spent time at home before summer football training and Isabel moved to Iowa City to begin attending dental school!!

Under the guise of "family pictures" Isabel got ready with Jayden's family that day for a photoshoot. However, the "photographer needed help setting up some equipment" requiring the guys to leave early to set up. Isabel arrived at standing bear lake with Jayden's mom, Rachael, when on the path to where pictures would be a sign appeared and Rachel said "you have to walk this part alone". Isabel walked the beautiful prairie path lined with personal signs and statements from Jayden and at the end of the path Jayden was standing in wait next to Standing Bear Lake. He knelt on one knee, she said "Yes", and both of our families came out from hiding in celebration and cheer! It was a magical moment and we were both so happy to have had our families there, and to even take a few family pictures after all! Now we are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!
