They both knew right away that it was special and the rest is history.

It was a King Tide on Christmas Adam, December 23rd, 2022 at Crystal Cove. Gibson and Isabel were walking along the beach, enjoying the sunset, and vibrance of the Christmas spirit near the Beachcomber. On the way back, near a large Christmas tree, Gibson stopped, turned to Isabel, and got down on one knee. Blacked out by nerves, Gibson did as best he could to string words of affection, future excitement, and the all important 'will you marry me' question together. As Isabel said, 'yes,' and they both stood to kiss and hug, the realization of a large gathering of people had stopped to watch, support, and provide congratulations. Suddenly, a loud horn sounded from the restaurant. They weren't sure if the restaurant did it on purpose or if it was by some coincidence of fate - God giving his approval. Champagne and a celebratory dinner followed to cap of an unforgettable evening.
