Anything we should be aware of for your wedding weekend?
Answer
We are hosting our wedding over Jazz Festival weekend! Jazz Festival brings in around 10,000 visitors each year which will bring a few challenges. Accommodations will have a higher rate and a two night minimum night stay. There will be an increase in foot and standard traffic.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?
Answer
Black-Tie Optional: Tuxes and gowns are preferred, but not required. Men can wear a tuxedo or dark suit. Women can choose to wear either a formal evening gown or dressy separates. Color is encouraged!

Is there a dress code for the Welcome Party?
Answer
Semi-Formal Cocktail Attire: Women can wear cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and separates. Men can wear jacket and slacks- blue and seersucker are welcome.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Yes, please see our travel page for room block information and recommended properties!! There are also amazing airbnbs available in Newport and Middletown!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony begins at 5:30pm. Please arrive 10-15 prior to the start of the ceremony!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes! We will provide shuttles to and from the Newport Marriott and other locations in the Newport and Middletown, RI. Shuttles will depart at 4:30pm and run throughout the evening.

Is there parking available at Oceancliff?

Yes!! There are plenty of spots available!

Can I attend Newport Jazz Festival?
Answer
Of course! The festival will be held August 1-3 at Fort Adams State Park and runs from approx. 10:00am to 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased by the day or for the weekend, but do sell out fast. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased at https://newportjazz.org. We encourage you to enjoy the festival and musical acts if interested, but please allow plenty of time to attend wedding events!
