If you need a place to stay, we recommend looking for hotels or airbnbs in the Lynchburg area as it has more options and is only 30 minutes away from the venue. Options in Altavista may be limited as it is a smaller town.

Lynchburg Regional Airport

This airport is in the mail city of Lynchburg which is about 30 minutes away from the wedding location. Most people will probably stay in Lynchburg as Altavista is a smaller town.

Roanoke Blacksburg Airport

This airport is one hour away from Lynchburg but often has cheaper flights!

Train

Lynchburg Train Station

I have had many friends use the train system and they trust it. It is a great option if you are coming from a nearby state/city.
