During the summer of 2017, Austin and I found ourselves both working at Camp Seale Harris/ASCCA on Lake Martin in Alabama. I was leading the horseback riding program, and Austin was a counselor for kids with Type 1 Diabetes. We knew of each other because we both went to the same high school, but were a year apart. Once we started to get to know each other, we realized that our older sisters were best friends when they were in middle school! We actually probably interacted a few times when we were pretty young. Our relationship continued and grew during the rest of our time at Auburn University. Our favorite place in Auburn is Kiesel Park, and we would spend many afternoons taking long walks there. Austin knew that was the perfect place to ask me to marry him in October of 2019. Now, we are both back in Birmingham, but will always love Auburn and Kiesel Park. We can't wait for you to join us at our wedding in August of 2020!
