Golden Gate Park
Highlights include the Japanese Tea Garden, Cal Academy of Sciences (one of Bel's favorite museums), De Young Museum, the Conservatory of Flowers, and Hellman's Hollow
University of California Botanical Garden
The botanical garden is beautiful in July. Also visit the redwood glade and Strawberry Canyon while you're there!
Mount Tamalpais
Aaron's favorite hiking in the Bay Area. Stop at Muir Woods (be sure to reserve parking well ahead of time), Stinson Beach, or try some of the many amazing trails (e.g. Steep Ravine, Matt Davis Trail, Dipsea)
Tilden Regional Park
Hiking with views of the Bay; try the Seaview Trail
Alcatraz Island
It's a classic tourist destination for a reason. Go for the audio tour. Stop at Boudin for a clam chowder sourdough bread bowl on the way back!
