Two 18 year-old girls walks into a Trader Joe’s. She grabs two armfuls of Chardonnay, and checks make sure that her best friend has her fake ID. She saunters over to the sample area with the hopes of free food, and is surprised to find, doling out tiny paper cups of chips and salsa, a very handsome Jewish sample boy.
Boy doesn’t remember meeting Girl at Trader Joe’s, but think she’s really beautiful and hangs out with her all night. Girl remembers They listen to Elliot Smith on a shared pair of headphones. Boy gets excited hearing that Girl works at a bakery, and tells her about his dreams of opening a restaurant. Girl crushes said dreams with the practical realities of finance and experience. Unfazed, boy then leads girl into the house where he picks up a guitar and plays her a song he’s written. Girl hides her distaste for singer/songwriter guitar players because she thinks that he's really cute.
They pull up to the bench just as the sun is touching the horizon, to find a glass of champagne waiting for them. It is their 2nd year anniversary. Boy has a secret in his pocket. Girl is wearing a beautiful blue sun dress. Boy has a very important question to ask.
Friend turns to Girl, and says "he was definitely flirting with you." Girls says, "Well, I always thought I’d marry a Trader Joe’s boy."
