We started talking on the dating app Coffee Meets Bagel. After I had almost given up because when I started the app, it had defaulted me to only Asians. I finally thought, I wonder if I could change my preferences or if something is goofy with them. Low and behold, I had only Asians picked! So I changed it to white. And he popped up soon after. We chatted via the chat feature and after a few days during which he ignored me because he didn't like my one word answers, we exchanged numbers as the app only keeps you in contact for 7 days. We were going to do lunch on a Saturday between my two parts at C2 Education as our first date. But he got bored that Friday night and we decided to meet at Starbucks and chat for a bit. We still did lunch the next day and I got my coffee out of him then since I didn't get one the night before. We talked a lot on the phone and eventually went out on an evening date to dinner at Maggiano's and then bowling. That night, was our official start date.
