We are big on parks and open spaces! Most of them are free to enjoy, though the State Parks require a vehicle fee. This is a small collection of the reasons why we love to call Denver home!

One of the parks we first fell in love with in Denver! Nestled in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, not from St. Johns Cathedral.

Cheesman Park

This park is full of life! Watch out for the geese, and look for crawdads in the streams.

Washington Park

On the west side of the city, this park is close to some wonderful eats!

Sloans Lake

Where the Cherry Creek and Platte rivers meet! Dogs are welcomed to splash in the shallows, while kayakers and anglers brave the rapids.

Confluence Park

A prime place for birding and enjoying the wildlife. Praire dogs, bison, and deer roam the plains, which you can view from your vehicle on a ten-mile loop through protected lands. Also where we took our engagement photos!

Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge

Our go-to place for seeing the beauty of the Rocky Mountains! Enjoy this scenic view out of the city!

Golden Gate State Park Panorama Point

If you're looking for a beach on the front range, this is the spot for some fun in the sun!

Cherry Creek State Park

Spot birds in the wetlands and the streams that feed Chatfield Lake!

Denver Audubon Nature Center

Our favorite Zoo and not just because Will works there. Visit all sorts of wonderful critters on a campus that you can see in a few short hours!

Nestled between the Denver Zoo and the Nature and Science museum this park is an expansive space to enjoy some fresh air!
