When should I RSVP by?

If you haven't already, please RSVP shortly after you receive our invitation next year (we'll let you know when those are going out!).

How do I get to the venue? Is there parking?

Answer

The venue has adequate parking for those arriving in cars, though if you plan to make use of the open bar, we suggest parking at Hyatt House in Fishkill and taking the provided shuttle. Alternatively, you may take the Metro-North to Garrison train station and from there it's a 5-minute car ride to The Garrison. There should be rideshares available, but wait times can vary significantly late at night so keep that in mind.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

If you're staying at the hotel where we have a hotel block, there will be a shuttle to and from the venue.

What is the dress code for this event?

Answer

Semi-formal. No restrictions on color besides red and white.

Are +1s and kids welcome?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation for the number of guests you can bring.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:45 PM. The ceremony will start at 4:00 PM.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors weather permitting. All other festivities will take place indoors. As November can be chilly, you may want to bring an extra layer for the ceremony. We will provide some blankets.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

What is weather typically like at the venue this time of year?

Answer

Expect weather in the 40-50°F (4-10°C) range during the day, dropping to the low 30s°F (0°C) at night. Please dress accordingly so you will be comfortable during the ceremony, which will be outdoors.

Can I take photos with my phone during the ceremony?

We would appreciate having an unplugged ceremony.

How early can I arrive to the venue?

Please refrain from arriving earlier than 3:00 PM as the tea ceremony will be taking place with immediate family.

While we have registered for traditional gifts, we would prefer donations to Clara and/or our honeymoon fund. We greatly appreciate your donation!
