We met all the way back in high school and became great friends by the time we graduated. Even though we went to rivalry college schools (Oregon State for Isaac and University of Oregon for Olivia), we ended up reconnecting every time we visited friends at each other school's. A lot of flirting turned into a relationship that was so natural and easy for both of us!

Isaac always knew Olivia's dream was to go on a hot air balloon ride, and knew it was the perfect birthday gift for her! The morning of the balloon ride the weather was absolutely perfect, no cloud in site and Isaac was ecstatic that is wasn't raining! Ironically, the weather ended up being TOO perfect, with too little wind for the balloons to actually take flight. Isaac already had an entire engagement brunch planned with his and Olivia's families, and he knew even though the flight was cancelled that he'd have to wing it with another plan! He took Olivia up to an incredible lookout spot right after sunrise, and proposed up there! The staff of the hot air balloon rides saw the engagement, and graciously decided to invite them up for a quick 15 minute trip just for them! They then met with friends and family for a surprise celebration and it was the most incredible day!
