Bride and Groom
Thanks for being a part of our day and our lives! As you already know, we love spending time outside hiking, backpacking, and eating LOTS of ice cream. We are thankful for Christ and the blessing of getting to know Jesus more together.
Best Man
Brandon is one of Isaac's close friends through church youth group. Throughout the years, Isaac and Brandon have met for accountability, talking about their faith, and catching up on life. Isaac had the honor of being one of Brandon's groomsmen in his wedding to his wife several years ago, watching him become a father a year ago, and will be seeing Brandon and his family a lot more once becoming next-door neighbors with him in August.
Groomsman
Tim was one of Isaac's roommates at Grove City College. They've experienced four years of marching band, a year of being in the same major, and three years in the same housing group. With commonalities of both being Eagle Scouts, similar interests such as playing disc golf, and a common commitment to following Jesus, they've become great friends over their time in college.
Groomsman
Nathan was also one of Isaac's roommates in college (Tim, Nathan, and Isaac lived in a triple during their sophomore and junior years). Nathan was known in the college friend group to reel people into moderation or reality, which he has done several times for Isaac. Sharing priorities of their faith, an interest in sports and outdoor recreation, and participation Marching Band and Touring Choir, Nathan and Isaac have become great friends over the years.
Groomsman
Vince is Isaac's oldest friend from Elementary school. Throughout their years in Elementary, Middle, and High School bands and music groups, they have had many opportunities to hang out and go on adventures. Vince and Isaac share a common interest in backpacking and have gone on quite a number of trips together. Recently, Vince has completed a thru-hike of the Appalachian trail and Isaac was able to meet him along the way for some town food and a couple of miles.
Groomsman
Zach has been one of Isaac's good friends since the first year of high school marching band camp with the trumpet section. Throughout high school, they've taken several classes together, participated in countless band competitions, and eaten lots of food between performances. Every year during what often turns out to be the coldest day in the beginning of January, Zach, Vince, and Isaac all meet together for an annual "Steak and Hike" for each new year (which has been going on 7 years strong).
Groomsman
Tyler is Natalie's older brother and is married to Kyla. Like the rest of the Turbett siblings, Tyler spends a lot of time outside biking and hiking. Tyler is the original tall boy of the Turbett family, so when Natalie met Isaac she was used to spending her life looking up and keeping a fast walking pace. Tyler's faith also impacts his life and is seen in lending a helping hand to his sisters when in need (or when Natalie doesn't feel like paying to get things fixed on her car).
Matron of Honor
Marley is Natalie's younger sister and built in best friend. Since the day they can remember, they were attached at the hip causing all sorts of silliness and ruckus at home. You probably don't hear them address each other as their actual names and instead use a myriad of nicknames. Marley is married to Alec Smith and like the rest of the Turbett family, they enjoy time in nature and being a servant to Christ.
Matron of Honor
Beka is Natalie's older sister and also her best friend. While Beka and Natalie may not share as much silly energy together, Natalie is thankful for the wisdom, guidance, and laughs that she can always lean on Beka for. She is incredibly wise and caring, while not being afraid to put Natalie and Marley into their place. Beka is married to Nate Aston and they also enjoy time in nature and serving Jesus.
Bridesmaid
Maddy and Natalie met in college through working at the gym together when learning to be group exercise instructors. Their friendship blossomed immediately as they bonded over their type A personalities, ice cream, their faith, and so much more. Natalie can't imagine getting through college without Maddy and her friendship she could always lean on (and lots of mental health walks around town)! Maddy is married to Ben Leister and they have a two year old son together.
Bridesmaid
Kyla is Natalie's sister in law (married to Natalie's brother, Tyler)! Kyla spent a lot of time with Rebekah serving in Appalachia together on PPM trips and grew closer to our family through those trips. When Kyla and Tyler married, Kyla fit in with the Turbett sisters right away. Kyla also loves spending time in nature. Ty&Ky enjoy paddleboarding and anytime Natalie can invite herself to go, she always does!
Bridesmaid
Hannah is Isaac’s older (but shorter) sister. Growing up, they could be seen creating obstacle courses in the backyard, using her new driver’s license to get seaweed snacks from the grocery store, or precisely divvying up the pickle juice. As his sister, Hannah has had a first-hand seat to watch Isaac grow from a quiet but funny kid into the confident, thoughtful, and selfless man he is today. She is thrilled to welcome Natalie into the family and celebrate the love they share.
