We met through Cru at UW-Whitewater! We both happened to be going to a lantern festival with some awesome Cru friends, and it was love at first sight… kinda! It took Mila awhile to realize Isaac was interested - some would call her oblivious. When Isaac asked Mila to go play a game of basketball (just the two of them), she did not even consider the fact that he was asking her on a date. Eventually, after lots of one-on-one hiking, basketball playing, stargazing, and deep talks, Mila finally got the hint. Isaac officially asked Mila to be his girlfriend on November 17th, 2023! Dating was filled with so many exciting adventures, growth, and challenges. We traveled to Cuba on mission, camped in the Colorado Rockies, sang our hearts out in Nashville, grew in our walks with the Lord, and survived 6 months of long distance! We are grateful for every minute of it. We got engaged on June 25th, 2025 and could not be more excited to start our lives together!
