We are starting the day at 4:30PM with Cocktail Hour. Make sure to eat before arrival. Following will be the ceremony. Dinner will be served around 7:15PM. Dancing is from 8:30PM until the wedding concludes at 10:30PM.
Please expect games (indoor and outdoor), snacks, lots of music, high energy, and fun opportunities to meet new friends. There will be a bouncy house, which requires a waiver to be signed beforehand. Yes, there is parking onsite next to the venue. Please do not park on the street or the grass.
Would it even be a wedding without it?! We'll have beer and wine for everyone, including three signature cocktails. Feel free to bring your own bottle of a little somethin' somethin' if you'd like and our venue will serve you! We'll have mixers if needed as well!
Caboose Farms is a smoke-free venue. Smoking is permitted 25ft from any building, including gravel areas. All cigarette butts must be disposed of in a designated container, NOT on the ground or grass.
The event will mostly be outdoors and the reception will be indoors. You can expect weather ranging in the mid 60s to low 70s.
We want you to dress your best! We'd love something fun and creative and not your typical formal attire. If you're feeling a bit Western, Bohemian, Chic, or just a bit out of the box, here's the place to do it. We do recommend bringing a light jacket just in case. Don't forget we have a Pinterest board on the Attire tab with a link.
Yes, please see the travel page for hotel recommendations. Our hotel block is specifically at Hampton Inn Hagerstown-I-81. It concludes on Saturday, April 18th, so please book soon if you haven't already! Quick reminder that this is the only location that has a shuttle to and from the wedding.
There will be two shuttles leaving to and from the wedding. The first shuttle leaves at 3:45pm (this one is almost full!), and the second leaves at 4:45PM from Hampton Inn Hagerstown-I-81. However, there is plenty of room for the shuttles back, one leaving at 9:15PM and the other at 10:15PM. These are first come first served, so please reach out to us at mat.elder2k@gmail.com to let us know if you'd like to be on the shuttle.
So glad you asked, my botanizing friend! 🌿 There will be two locations for tents: The Jefferson House and the Washington House. When you pull up, you'll see signs and rope for designated areas. Reach out to us to be directed to these houses.
