FAQs

Question

What time is the wedding? Where should I park?

Answer

The wedding will begin at 4:30 on Saturday, June 13th. Once parking details are solidified, we will be able to give you a better idea for when you should park so that you can be seated by 4:25. Continue to check this website for updates as the date approaches. ****UPDATE**** Please look in your text messages to see if you are parking at the Airbnb or at Vertical Church. If you park at the church, please be aware that they are not responsible for any loss or damage done to cars while on their property. Park at your own risk.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Clothes, preferably. The wedding and reception are outside under a covered gazebo. Being in the mountains will make it cooler, but still plan for it to be pretty warm. MEN: Some people will be in suits and others in khakis with a button down. Want to wear a tie with a blazer or suit jacket? Go for it. Want to ditch the tie? Great. Do you refuse to wear a coat in the heat? We get it. WOMEN: You know the drill. No mostly white dresses, but everything else is fair game. You’ll be hard pressed to find a patterned dress without white in it. That’s okay! Think flowy summer dresses/garden party. Want to wear a pantsuit or slacks/skirt with a blouse? Sounds good to me. We just want everyone to look nice, but feel comfortable. Color is encouraged!

Question

What will the wedding be like?

Answer

The ceremony will be about 30 minutes. Guests will be able to go inside to eat and drink while we take some pictures. After we all eat dinner, we will go up to the gazebo to dance. People are free to go back and forth to the house as they please for rest, AC, and refreshments. Isaac and I will leave around 9:00. Everyone who is not sleeping at the AirBnb will leave between 9 and 9:30 so we can abide by AirBnb noise rules.

Question

What if I am traveling from out of town?

Answer

We are incredibly grateful for the sacrifice and commitment you are making to travel for our wedding. There are lots of hotels and AirBnbs in the area. Please compare drive times to the venue address.
