Question

Do I need to be vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine in order to attend the wedding? Also, am I required to wear a mask?

Answer

You are not required to be vaccinated in order to attend the wedding, but we strongly encourage that you do get vaccinated if you are able. Even though many people will be fully vaccinated, all guests must wear a mask during the ceremony and reception (except when actively eating or drinking) in accordance with current Washington state mandates and CDC guidelines.

I don't get it, am I invited or not?

Answer

Due to COVID-19 and the mandates which are put in place to keep us safe, we must adhere to the state's guidelines. We sent out an insert along with our wedding announcements which explained that we are unable to invite everyone we wanted due to the pandemic. As we get closer to our wedding date, state mandates may change and allow us to invite more people. If that does take place, we will be reaching out to those people via email. We are deeply saddened that we can't celebrate with everyone in person, but we thank you for understanding our unique situation.

Will I be able to see you two get married even if I cannot attend in person?

We plan to have a video taken of the wedding! If you would like a copy, please email us at themcdonalds2021@gmail.com and we will send it to you once it is ready. Thank you for helping us celebrate!

Answer
