we're getting married!

It all started at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, where we met through mutual friends. From the very beginning, there was something special. Isaac was instantly taken aback by Kyra’s beauty, selflessness, confidence (maybe a little too confident), and quick wit. Kyra noticed right away that Isaac was kind, compassionate, and a great listener — the kind of person who picked up on all the little things that made her feel seen and special. It didn’t take long for both of us to realize this was something we’ve never felt before. Isaac suddenly had a lot of “errands to run” in Eau Claire every weekend, and Kyra wasted no time calling her mom to say, “I found the man I’m going to marry.” From there, our story grew through time spent with family, countless coffee dates, nights filled with belly laughs, and late-night FaceTime calls. Somewhere between Isaac forgetting his truck keys on the hood of his truck when rushing off to see Kyra and manual labor weekends at the Saylor’s, we knew we had found our soulmate. Fast forward to August 2025 — our biggest adventure yet. We road-tripped out west, camping under the stars in Glacier, and running into bears in Yellowstone. On our final stop in the Grand Tetons, Isaac planned a quiet truck bed lunch overlooking the mountains. There, surrounded by the beauty of nature, he got down on one knee and asked Kyra to spend forever with him. Today, we still find joy in the simple things — coffee dates, cribbage games, mountain getaways, workouts together, and playful teasing that never ends. Our love story is built on laughter, adventure, and the everyday moments that remind us how lucky we are to have found each other.
