Isaac and Kat first met as kids at Christ Community Church, where their families attend. Growing up, they would interact occasionally but were unaware that a relationship would develop in the future. Through Sunday services, church events and shared friendships, they grew more familiar with one another. In late high school when the pandemic began, Isaac and Kat’s friend groups merged and would hang out often. It didn’t take long for them to connect and become close friends. They spent days at the beach together, went on hikes, played spikeball, and pickleball. Feelings for each other started to develop. At the end of the summer, Isaac asked Kat on their first date and shortly after they made their relationship official. Through seasons of long distance at school in Montana and Arizona, they leaned on Christ and trusted his plan for their future. Even while away, their relationship deepened and became stronger. After five years of dating, Isaac and Kat are excited to begin the next chapter of life as husband and wife, and reflect God’s love in their marriage.
