If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes, if not, we would prefer it was just you.

Dressy-Casual! I bet you can find something to land you between casual and formal. I mean it is a wedding! ; )

Can I camp at the venue, Dixon's Campground?

Answer

YES! For FREE! We would LOVE for you to camp at the venue. It is free of charge for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night (9/20, 9/21, 9/22). If you would like to stay prior to Friday 9/20 you may reserve a campsite through Dixon's. Visit our 'Travel' tab on this site to find link to Dixon's website. Dixon's has water/electric sites if you have a van, pop-up, or camper you'd like to hook up on your campsite.

Where can I rent camping equipment?

EMS- Eastern Mountain Sports in Portsmouth, NH has camping gear (sleeping pads, bags, tents, etc.) to rent. Call ahead to reserve 603-334-6141. This may be a great option for those flying in. Maybe you bring your sleeping pad and bag, and rent a tent from EMS.

What should I expect for weather?

Welcome to Maine!! Typically at this time the weather is beautiful with mid 70s during the day and high 50s at night. With that being said we will be in New England and conditions can change quickly.

Where can I get ready for the wedding if I'm staying at the campground?

Answer

At the campgound! Dixon's Campground has beautiful bath houses with coin operated showers, sinks, and vanities.

Answer

Parking will be on site at Dixon's Campground.

How do I get around the area?

Answer

There are Uber and Lyft are in the area, however you may wait a bit longer than normal for pick up.

Where do I buy groceries?

Answer

There is a Hannaford Grocery store in York about 5 miles south of Dixon's Campground. However, if you are traveling up from Boston we'd suggest stopping to shop in Portsmouth or Newington, New Hampshire. It'll be much cheaper than Hannaford's in York.

Where can I buy beer/wine/liquor?

Answer

Unlike Utah you can get beer and wine pretty much anywhere including the Hannaford Grocery store in York. If you want liquor and you are traveling up from Boston I would suggest stopping at the New Hampshire Liguor Store.
