It all started from a summer church event, where neither of the parties very well of each other. Isaac was invited by Hayden, the supposed matchmaker of the couple, to this event and introduced his best friend he had known since middle school named Julie. The church event was called Summer Smash where they went to Elitches Theme Park in Denver, Colorado. After riding some rollercoasters and spending the day together they hit it off! After 3 months of getting to know each other he asked her to Homecoming and asked her to be his girlfriend! From there on, their relationship grew greatly and they became involved in each other’s lives much more than when they first met. By the time their first year of dating had passed, Isaac had begun to think about proposing to her as soon as he could! He began to save up to buy her a ring for over the course of almost six months, talking with his parents about their thoughts, and asked her father for his blessing in marriage. By the time he got the ring, he had made a plan on how he wanted to propose. Him and his family were going to Mexico very soon and wanted Julie to come along unknowingly that he would ask her to be his wife. While everyone was in Mexico, they had decided to travel to a place in Mexico City called “Desierto de los Leones”, an ex-convent up in the mountains. That day being March 1, 2024 an unknown Julie just going with the flow of things walked around taking pretty pictures with Vivi, Annabelle and Izzy. After exploring tunnels down under the church, Isaac took Julie to the top of these stairs where he then all of a sudden popped the question. At first Julie thought she was dreaming and couldn’t believe her eyes as she had no suspicion. After a few seconds of Isaac waiting for her answer, she answered with a cool “yea!” From then on they have started planning a wedding which leads us to here today!
