Q&A

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by 4/12/2027. Otherwise, we will assume you're politely declining. While we will miss celebrating with you, we are required to provide an exact headcount to our venue within the timeline they have provided us. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If we reserved a plus-one for you, it will be specified when you RSVP through our website. Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list to meet our venue capacity restrictions. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We invite you to dress in pastels colors, though it is not required. We kindly ask that guests reserve white for the bride. Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. Thank you for helping us make the day feel extra special!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes! When searching your name on our RSVP section, any names listed on the invite are welcome at both the ceremony and reception.

Question

Are there travel accommodations?

Answer

We will have a bus that will transport guests from the Sioux Historic Pavilion in Ortonville, MN to the GrandStay Hotel in Milbank, SD throughout our reception. We have listed multiple other options for lodging under the "Travel" tab for your convenience. If you have any questions about lodging, please don't hesitate to reach out to the bride!

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the church 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to find parking, use the bathroom, and find a spot to sit before the ceremony begins. The church will not allow guests to be entering once the bridal party begins walking.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, guests are welcome to head to the Sioux Historic for cocktail hour. The wedding party will arrive around 6pm to begin dinner and the dance!
