OUR STORY 2021-2025 In 2021, Isaac and Genesis met while serving together in the youth ministry at Calvary Chapel Melbourne, forming a natural and meaningful friendship through their shared heart for ministry. During that season, Genesis felt God place it on her heart that Isaac would one day be her husband, though she soon moved to Texas to pursue her master’s degree, and the distance seemed to close the door on anything more. It wasn’t until she left that Isaac recognized his feelings, but believing her move was permanent, he chose not to pursue them. Two years later, Genesis felt prompted to reach out and pray for him during a difficult season, and through that reconnection — and her eventual move back to Florida — their feelings became clear. In October 2025, Genesis courageously asked Isaac out, and on November 1st they officially began their relationship, stepping into a love story they believe God had been faithfully writing all along. THE PROPOSAL 12.25.26 Isaac knew he wanted to propose to Genesis, but before doing so, he had a few tasks to accomplish — things Genesis had playfully asked of him before he got down on one knee. While he successfully completed some of them, he missed one important request: not proposing on a holiday. And yet, on Christmas Day, he asked her to marry him. Despite breaking that one rule, it was a heartfelt, warm, and incredibly sweet moment — one she will cherish in her heart forever.
