Wedding Party

We're so grateful to be surrounded by the people who have walked with us, prayed for us, and celebrated us through every chapter. Meet our amazing wedding party!

Jenna Roeder

Maid of Honor

Hi everyone, I’m Jenna! I’m from central Texas and first met Elorm when she started at our hospital, where I was lucky enough to be her preceptor. What started as work conversations quickly grew into a friendship filled with nail dates, music, and plenty of life talks. Some of my favorite memories are seeing her outside of work, dancing and fully in her element. Over the years, I’ve watched her balance work, school, and now step into this exciting new chapter as a bride—I couldn’t be happier for her!

Jacklyn Asamoah

Bridesmaid

Hi everyone, I’m Jacklyn! I’m originally from Albuquerque, NM and now based in Houston, TX. I first met Elorm through her sister, Seyram. I went to school with Seyram and I remember seeing them together often because they are so close. And being the few Ghanaians in New Mexico, we instantly bonded. We have the same sense of humor and that’s so difficult to find! One of my favorite memories with Elorm (which there’s plenty) is when we went to paddle on the river in Austin and kept going into the bush, not once but twice! I was terrified but also laughed so much! Last time I visited Austin, I also had the chance to witness Elorm and Isaac together. Elorm looks so in love and I truly believe it. I'm so happy to be a part of their journey and can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter in their lives.

April Rodriquez

Bridesmaid

Hola everyone! My Name is April Rodriguez. I'm Mexican and moved to Texas from Mississippi almost 5 years ago. I first met Elorm at St. Albert. I was completely in awe when I heard Elorm read the readings in Spanish. Truly admired. I have many favorite memories with Elorm. But it was always a special time when we would go get tacos after Young adult group. That special bond where we could just hold space for each other’s heart without judgement. Over the years, I’ve had the blessing to witness Elorm in her single era to now in her fiancé -future to be Wife. It’s such an amazing feeling that warms my heart for them both. Isaac is definitely BEYOND BLESSED to have her in his life and especially as his Future Wife. I feel truly honored to stand with them on their wedding day and can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter in their lives.

Christina Robinson

Bridesmaid

Hi everyone, I’m Christina! I’m originally from Austin and now based in Round Rock, Texas. I first met Elorm when I started working at the same hospital. That moment sparked a friendship that grew through de-stress taco runs after work, field trips to Houston, and a few late nights out for drinks and music. But most importantly, our phone calls that could last hours to talk out whatever was bothering us in life. One of my favorite memories with Elorm was when we would go for ice cream after getting off of work. It became a ritual and something I looked forward to every time we worked together. Over the years, I’ve also had the chance to witness their engagement and the thought that Isaac put into it. The amount of time he spent paying attention to details to make it special for her. I feel truly honored to stand with them on their wedding day and can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter with them.

Ashley Giselle Nava-Guzman

Bridesmaid

Hi everyone! I’m Ashley, and I’m based in Seattle, Washington. I first met Isaac and Elorm through my boyfriend, who had moved to Austin, Texas for work. From that moment, a friendship blossomed through church, shared home-cooked meals, ice cream runs, dining out, and cozy game nights filled with UNO and lots of laughter. One of my favorite memories with Isaac and Elorm was at the Texas Rodeo, where we all stuck to the easy rides because no one wanted to admit we were too scared of the big ones. The day was full of bright colors, good food, and good people. I’m especially grateful to have been there from the very beginning of their relationship—back when they were “just friends” (though we all knew they were much more than that!). Over the years, I’ve loved watching their love grow, and I couldn’t be happier to stand by their side on their wedding day.

Amarachi Amaikwu

Bridesmaid

Hello! My name is Amarachi. I met Elorm through her sister in June 2020. Later that year, we began our RN program together—right in the thick of the pandemic— and subsequently survived the chaos of our BSN program. What began in the classroom of Covid university has since grown into a lasting friendship that I truly cherish. I cannot wait to celebrate yet another milestone with my girl!!!

Dominica Dzakah

Bridesmaid

Hi everyone, I’m Dominica, and I live in Austin, TX. I first met Elorm through our parents, and right away there was such a natural connection and bond with her and her sister. Elorm has always been like a big sister to me. Her kindness is limitless, and I deeply admire the way she loves and cares for those around her. Her love for Christ shines so clearly, and her boldness constantly encourages me to step out of my own comfort zone. I’ve only had the chance to meet Isaac briefly, but even in that short time it was clear to see the genuine care and devotion he has for Elorm. I feel incredibly honored to stand with them on their special day and I look forward to celebrating their love for many years to come.

Christopher Anamalia

Best Man

I am Chris, based in Austin. Known the groom since Ghana plus he was my roommate for the time after school. I got to see firsthand how Elorm and Isaac's relationship grew from strangers all the way to best friends and now life long partners. My favorite memories was when we went go-carting together and bumped into each other just cos one of us didn’t know how to drive. It was truly funny yet nerve racking in a way that not everyone would understand.

Michael Osei-Kufour

Groomsman

Hi everyone, I’m Michael! I’m based in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Isaac and I go way back to our days as classmates in St. James Seminary Senior high school. That’s where our friendship first began, and it has only grown stronger over the years. One of my favorite memories with Isaac was during a holiday “free outing” in school when he came home with me. My grandma welcomed him like family and made us some hot fufu - we laughed, ate, and enjoyed the day like brothers. That moment really showed me the kind of bond we shared, and it’s something I’ll always treasure. I am honored to stand with Isaac and Elorm on their big day!

Fredrick Boampong

Groomsman

Two tough degrees, one unbreakable friendship. Ike and I met as undergrads, conquering challenges together for nearly a decade. I've always admired his ability to turn high-pressure crunch time into calm victories, all with grace and good humor. He'd give those classic pep talks about starting early, yet we'd still pull through at the last buzzer. Today, I'm beyond honored to stand by him as he starts this joyful chapter with Elorm.

Emmanuel Nyatefe

Groomsman

Hi everyone, I’m Emmanuel Nyatefe, based in Mesa Arizona. I first met Isaac during our first year at KNUST as part of the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Program. One of my favorite memories with him was in 2020, when we stole - and I mean proudly stole - a used couch in the middle of the night from the porch of some fellow scholars and placed it in front of ours, just so we could sit during the day. Don’t worry, they found out and stole it back eventually! And honestly, that’s the kind of guy Isaac is - bold, a little mischievous, but always with a good heart. So, Elorm, if one day you find a couch mysteriously missing from the neighbors’ porch and reappearing in your living room - just know, some habits die hard!

Emmanuel Osei Gyamfi Brefo

Groomsman

I first met "king solo", the groom, years ago, gathered in an auditorium for the final round of interviews for the MCF scholars program. Amid the palpable nervous energy, he stood out for his calm and collected demeanor, with a confident excitement that was truly infectious. However, the memory that truly defines Ike’s character for me came later, during the Covid-19 lockdowns. I was stranded in Ghana after contracting the virus, and it was an isolating and uncertain period. Ike, who was already in the U.S., made a point of reaching out to check in regularly, wanting to know how I was really doing and if there was anything he could do to help. This meant the world to me, especially at a time when others were just asking for favors. While I can’t speak to his goal-keeping or soccer skills in general, I can absolutely attest to his qualities as a truly selfless and kind friend. Isaac, I am incredibly happy for you and wish you and your new partner all the joy in the world. You deserve a marriage filled with the same compassion and friendship you so freely offer to others. Congratulations to Mr and Mrs "Solomon"

Ghis Bugingo

Groomsman

Hi everyone, I’m Ghislain! I’m originally from Rwanda and now based in Seattle, Washington. I first met Isaac and Chris when we were neighbors at the Radius at the Domain apartments. One Sunday after church, I saw them unloading groceries, and something told me to turn around, introduce myself, and even invite them over for dinner. That moment sparked a friendship that grew through our daily walks around the Domain after work. One of my favorite memories with Isaac was celebrating his birthday together with Chris and Elorm. He was missing home and his family that day, but we made sure to lift his spirits. By the time we were driving around listening to “Countryside” by Black Sherif, his smile said it all—it was truly a special night. Over the years, I’ve also had the chance to witness the beautiful relationship between Isaac and Elorm. I feel truly honored to stand with them on their wedding day and can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter in their lives.

Rueben Agogoe

Groomsman

Hi, my name is Reuben and I’m from Ghana. I currently stay in Austin, Texas. I first met Isaac through Chris. Chris and I were classmates back in high school and we all lived in the same apartment complex around the Domain. We started bonding over football since we both support the best  team  in the world, Chelsea obviously . This progressed to domain walks and eventually, playing tennis together. I have countless favorite memories of Isaac and it’s hard to choose one. One of my favorite memories of Isaac was our planned trip to the capital. Sorry Elorm, I know you were a little jealous of that one. We went to tour the state capitol and after that, he introduced me to a food truck spot downtown, one of my favorite places to get empanadas in Austin. Looking back, he also introduced me to my first taco food truck, and a second taco truck. I’m starting to see a pattern of food here, bombastic side eyes. As his roommate, he also challenged me to try new things like vegetables and alcohol. He had good intentions, I promise. Isaac and Elorm’s relationship is something truly special. To me, it redefines what love looks like. They’ve been my favorite couple since the day I met them, and I believe God really brought them together for a purpose. Their love is inspiring, not just to me but to everyone around them. They remind us all to love better.
