Isaac and Caitlin met in the winter of 2022 after his youngest sister, Joy, brought him to her church’s Young Adult Group. By this time, Caitlin had already met Isaac’s mom and sisters through church—without realizing any of them were related. When they finally met, he was drawn to her upbeat and energetic personality, while she thought he was cute but feared he was too young. They gradually started talking more each week, bonding over movies and sports, and eventually were paired up during a game night (which he secretly coordinated). Shortly after that game night, Isaac asked Caitlin to grab coffee. The two got to know each other over the next few months before becoming official in June 2022. Their time dating was filled with lots of pizza, mini golf dates, and many trips back and forth between Vancouver and Spokane, where Isaac lived for about a year and a half. In September 2025, Isaac proposed to Caitlin during a day trip to Cannon Beach. They can't wait to celebrate their next chapter of life with all of you next November ❤️
