We're getting married!

It all started at a high school track meet. A mutual friend introduced Alexia, known to most as Lexy, to Isaac, and the connection was instant. She was sharp, full of life, and always quick to laugh. He was charming, thoughtful, and a little shy in the best way. They went to different schools, but that didn’t stop the spark. Their friendship grew through texts, memes, and late-night conversations, with messages constantly going back and forth. Then came senior prom. Although they went to different school, that did not stop Isaac from asking Lexy to prom. That night, they danced under the lights, laughed like they always did, and created a memory that still means everything to them. On January 27, 2018, they officially became Lexy and Isaac. Over the next seven years, they grew together from their teens into their early twenties, supporting each other through different colleges, long distances, and busy schedules. Isaac pursued his collegiate football career at Sacramento State, Chaffey College, and Missouri Western State while earning his bachelor’s degree. Lexy completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and began teaching as a college professor. Despite the miles, shifting time zones, countless flights, and full calendars, they remained each other’s constant. They always showed up and never stopped cheering each other on. Their love did not waver. In August 2024, on a golden beach in Maui, Isaac got down on one knee with the ocean behind him and forever in front; Lexy said yes. Their story is not built on one big moment, but on steady love, shared growth, and showing up. Sometimes the best relationships are not built on a sprint. They are built on good company, patience, and the kind of laughter that makes the miles disappear.
