The Orlando Cat Cafe
If you are looking to spend time with some felines, check this place out! This is where we adopted Simba from! You can enjoy coffee, cafe fare, and cats! It's recommended that you have a reservation and if your looking for more active cats to go earlier in the morning.
Downtown Mount Dora
If you are looking for a stroll, downtown is the place to be. It gives off a small town feel with all sorts of different shops. The Modernism Museum displays modern furniture. Housed in a 1923 fire station, the Mount Dora History Museum documents local history. An extensive collection of classic cars, plus a replica of a 1940s gas station, are on display at the Museum of Speed
DeLeon Springs
Stephanie is a big fan of FL's natural springs! No matter what time of year, the springs are always a refreshing 72 degrees. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy such as swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, nature trails, fishing, and boat tours. On property, they have the Sugar Mill restaurant where you can make your own pancakes at your own table!
Renningers Antique Center
If you're looking for antiques or some unique finds, Renningers is the place to look! They have two large buildings and a number of open-air shopping areas which house a wide variety of dealers from produce stands, clothing shops, and oddity vendors, to high-quality antiques and collectibles. They also have their Farmers Market on Saturday & Sunday from 8am-4pm
Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards
The winery overlooks 80+ acres of planted vineyards and is situated among the rolling hills of Clermont. Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards offers complimentary winery tours and wine tasting seven days a week. Isaac & Stephanie's favorite wines from Lakeride Winery are southern white and chablis.
Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens
The Zoo is home to more than 350 animals, representing over 100 different species. Isaac & Stephanie have visited this zoo many times and continue to enjoy.
