Visit the Chain of Lakes

Walk around Lake of the Isles, have a beach day at Cedar Lake's hidden beach, or pick up a kayak at Bde Maka Ska. Lake of the Isles, Cedar Lake and Bde Maka Ska are three beautiful connected lakes in Minneapolis!

Stone Arch Bridge

Stone Arch Bridge, Minneapolis, MN

On our first date we walked across the stone arch bridge. At the time Sarah was living in Minneapolis. It was a big deal for Josh to come into the city. He brought Mikko :). The view on the bridge is Sarah's favorite view of Minneapolis. While you are down here check out the Mill City Museum which has beautiful views of the river and skyline as well as some flour-milling history.

Minneapolis Institute of Art

2400 3rd Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55404

A world-class art museum with over 90,000 artworks from around the globe. Sarah and her mom enjoy going here together!

Bricksworth Beer Co.

We love going here for Detroit style pizza and Beer! While we usually frequent the Burnsville location, the Minneapolis location is much closer to your hotel!

The Wayzata Boardwalk offers beautiful fall scenery for walking/biking the Dakota Rail Trail, enjoying Lake Minnetonka views, exploring charming downtown shops & patios, and leaf-peeping around Noerenberg Gardens.
