Our story began at Point Sebago in Casco, Maine—a place that has always been special to both of us, as our families have vacationed there for years. We met as teenagers, just 14 and 15 years old, and what started as a crush quickly turned into a relationship. Even though we lived an hour and a half apart, our parents made sure we could spend weekends together, driving us to a gas station halfway between our homes to "exchange" us (a memory that still makes us smile). But as high school went on, we eventually went our separate ways. Nearly seven years later, we found our way back to each other, and it felt like no time had passed. From the moment we reconnected, we both knew we were exactly where we were meant to be. In October 2023, Ryan proposed at the very spot where our story began—Point Sebago. We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate our wedding day with the people we love most, and to have Jim McLaughlin, Ryan’s late father’s best friend and the person we owe so much of our love story to, as our officiant.
