We went to high school together but never shared anything more than a "hi" and "bye." Then, 7 years later (our favorite number by the way) we started a poke war with each other on facebook. From there, we went on a date, and I remember being in my parent's car and seeing her crossing the street. I thought to myself, "Wow! She is so beautiful!" and couldn't take my eyes off of her or her gorgeous smile all night. Let's just say, I couldn't let her go home at the end of the date without going straight for a kiss. To this day, I love her with all I am, and God willing, I want to love her for all eternity.

I love this man with every fiber of my existence, and I believe God does everything for a reason. In high school, we were not ready for one another. Maybe then, our story would have been very short lived. But now that we have found one another in the place where God wanted us to be, our love story can be everlasting. I've been asked in the past, "what about him do you find special?" and my usual response is, "do you have roughly 3 hours for me to tell you the brief version?" In my heart, I know we are individually exemplary people, but together, we are destined for greatness. I pray that our relationship is blessed in every way, and that we become blessings to everyone around us.

Craig is definitely our favorite "blanquito," (Dominican term of endearment for a white person). We have met kind hearted individuals in our lifetime, but never anyone like Craig. He's the kind of person that never says no, and when we think we can't achieve something, he constantly reminds us that, "not with that attitude," we won't. Just being around him to hear his soft spoken voice is calming. We feel very blessed to be able to call him a friend. Thank you for honoring us by saying yes to being our best man.

Yahaira is the most organized, most educated, most humble, most caring, most soft spoken, and most pleasant human being to be around! She'll lend an ear to all your problems and lead you to find solutions to them. She makes no judgment of people and accepts them just as they are. She has known the bride for over 15 years and has been a loyal friend despite distance and time. We love Yahaira so much and the name "maid of honor" suits her in every way! AND SHE'S SINGLE!!! <3 ;)

Elliot is the kind of person that can always brighten someone's day. He's loyal, very friendly, super funny, and exudes the ultimate confidence, responsibility, and good will. However, if there are two things that really stands out about him, are his honesty and acceptance of others. These qualities create an ambience of trust and safety, which provides comfort and an opportunity for us to be ourselves around him. We are grateful to him for being such an awesome friend, and for saying yes to being our groomsman.

Keyla is the bride's cousin, and a beautiful old soul. She's usually very quiet, but when she speaks, great wisdom is behind each word. She mitigates problems with ease and shows a great deal of love and understanding to everyone around her. No one beats her ability to just listen, which is a quality that is very hard to find. Her favorite things are babies, dogs, and exercising, and boy is she a beast at the gym! She's been a great blessing in our lives in more ways than one, and we can't wait until she honors us with walking down the aisle by our sides. We love you keykey!

When talking about class and education, yet fun and lovely, we immediately think Evelyn. Evelyn is a big go-getter. She achieves anything she sets her mind to, and dresses very lady-like while at it. Confidence and strength are her essence. Beauty and brains some of her superpowers. And no matter what comes her way, her resilience is unbeatable. We are so blessed to call her our friend and can't wait until she joins us in our special day. We love Evelyn!

Everyone that meets Anand instantly falls in love with his personality. He's completely chill and incredibly smart. He's able to hold a conversation with anyone very easily and listens really well, which a quality that's hard to find. He's very reliable and when he gives his word, he doesn't go back on it. We know we made the right choice in bringing him into our lives and choosing him to be our groomsman.

Edgar is such a sweet and kind human being. He has the strength and will power to overcome any obstacle that may come to his life. He has an incredible endurance, even enough to complete a Spartan Race! (which by the way he actually did complete!) He's the kind of person that would be down for anything and can really make others laugh. We feel incredibly grateful that he accepted to be by our side as our groomsman!

Yessi is incredible! She's not just beautiful on the outside but also within. She is a graceful fighter for what she believes in and would never let anyone side track her from her goals and dreams. She has the biggest of hearts and is incredibly compassionate. God truly blessed the world when He made her. It would be impossible to express all that she is in just a small paragraph, and we are more than blessed to have her as one of our bridesmaids!

He is a brother from another mother. Mathew has an infectious personality that would innately draw you to him. A singer, actor, dancer, a man with a natural gift for the arts. Mathew has always been there through the good times and the bad and the memories shared are beyond comparison. His love and passion towards nature and animals brings about a natural selflessness and kindness. We are honored to have him as a groomsmen.

Carlyn is the groom's sister. She is fearless, goal-oriented, and determined to accomplish anything despite any obstacles that present itself. Although quiet, she has a captivating smile that would brighten up anyone's mood. She is also a gym trainer and frequently works out to be in the best shape possible. I highly recommend her for your dietary needs. BY THE WAY, SHE IS LOOKING FOR CLIENTS!!

Jordy is an incredibly unique person. There isn't a day he can't make you laugh. But the most unexpected of things about him is that under a huge layer of sarcasm, jokes, and pretending like he doesn't care, he has one of the greatest hearts we have come to know. His sense of style is above anyone we know. He's also super smart, the life of any party, and a very loyal friend to all. There's never been a moment that he wasn't there for us and I am sure that in the future he will continue to be present in our lives. We love Jordy, and it is an honor to have him as our groosman.

Loren has always been like a sister to the bride. They share the same thoughts, feelings, and a lot of the times even do the exact same actions. It's almost as if they were twins from another mother and father, except Loren is definitely much more fun! She's loved by everyone she meets and brings out the best in people. She's the most social of the group and can hold a conversation with anyone easily. Her charisma and grace are unmatched, and her sense of style and glamorous take on life is unending. She holds very high expectations, is an incredibly honest and loyal friend, and has a solution-oriented mindset that allows her to solve any unexpected bump on the road.
