Brian Kuhn

Best Man

Life during and after college would have not been the same without knowing you Brian. I would also have to say, I would have been a very different person all together... if our paths did not cross in our environmental GIS class all those years ago. It was a muddy day on the local mountain bike trails in Hayward. We arrive to class soaking wet with mud all over our bicycle chain greased jeans. "Hey do you ride mountain bikes?" "Ehhh, yeah, a little bit" "I know some pretty cool trails around campus" "kewl..." ...and that was the start of many dareing and memorable trips to come. Simple and sweet. We always go through some trials and errors, don't we? 😂 Your curiosity of the great outdoors is what I look up to. Without fear...but with confidence. That's what you bring out in me...my good old friend. Thank you for bringing out the wild and adventure that I never knew I had. Congratulations on being the bestest man! Trust me...it's quite the honor 😉 -Andrew

Zoltan Gallo

Groomsman

"You should know by now to never follow Zolly (down a mountain trail or ski slope)" -Brian Kuhn. Zoltan, you have been has my mountain goat and the one that was always good at catching me when I fall (literally and figuratively) in our countless note worthy adventures. Your a calming figure in the face of adversity. And many adversity type situations we have had. The 1st time we hung out was snowshoeing at Miess Meadows. Brian was stuck in Reno, but I'm sure he would have wanted to come with us. We hiked around, cooled a few beers in ice holes formed in the rock, and just hung out. Without a care and a schedule in the world. Thanks for being an awesome friend and I'm glad to have shared many good memories with you. I'll never forget when we were young, however we will always be those hooligans in the woods 🌲🌲 Its true you forge the strongest bonds when face with harrowing situations together. I couldn't ask for a better person to be part of me and Irma's big day. - Andrew

Jodeci Nguyen

Groomsman

All your life I've seen your uncanny sense of compassion and gentle demeanor. You would go above and beyond for people you care for, more than anyone would expect.  I remember last year walking downstairs and getting ready for work in the morning of my birthday, to be surprised by a huge box in the living room. It was a old school record player. "Joe, your not driving right now, how the heck did you get this huge box home?" "I took BART to the nearest Target and just carried it all the way here. Oh, I waited until you were asleep to move it to the living room, but you kept waking up to go to the bathroom, so... it wasn't easy". I don't get surprised often, but that day I will remember your love. Not just because of the gift, but how you went above and beyond to obtain and present it.  Thank you for being a person that always gives, always thinking, always challenging, and always wondering. Stay free and explore son  - Love Dad

Tymon Thi

Groomsman

Isn't it's cool that you call me "brother". We've been so used it 😁. But I think it shows how strong we are as brothers. About 8-9 years ago at "The Jungle", a children's fun park. There was a very high rope bridge that crossed the busy arcade section of the park. You really didn't want to cross it, in fact it looked like you were intent on NOT crossing it as I tried to pull you to the other side. "Tymon, don't look down, look at me and just walk"....that still didn't sway your fear. "Just look at my face, don't look down, don't even think about, and walk...do you trust me?". And right then, you faced towards my face, with a stone face but unflinching wide eyes of fear and you started to walk. Walked across that scary rope bridge we did...all the way to the other side. Thank you for trusting in me little brother and taking the plunge into the unknown. Stay brave, keep your bearings, and know you always have backup. -Love Brother

Anton Suris

Groomsman

My dependable friend. The one and only Anton. You were my co-worker, my roommate, my friend, and now my groomsman.  I'm sure you have seen me grow and change, just as much as I have seen you.  I will never forget our hairraising commutes down 680 and 85 towards NASA Ames Research Center. From San Jose to Mountain View. We both didn't have cars at the time, but wanted to carpool somehow. So we used my 150cc scooter while lane splitting down morning traffic on the freeway. 2 guys, 2 helmets, 2 up (the back passenger significantly taller than the front driver) on a little green scooter, dressed to impress, with ties flapping along the 35-55mph winds. Just you and me my brother. Romantic....isn't it 😂. Id say it wasn't the safest way to get to work...but it certainly was environmentally friendly, cheap, and fun as hell.  Thanks for being part of me and Irma's lives, and bringing Allie to the fold. She's a keeper man. It's a pleasure and will always be. I'm always here for you man -Andrew
